1st Day: Nature and Culture…
The orthodox "Brancoveanu" Monastery is a place of spiritual recovery.
The “Transfagarasan” is the most spectacular pass-road of Romania.
The “Brukenthal-Palace” in Avrig (with its wonderfull garden) was the Summer-Residence of the former Governour of Transylvania, Samuel von Brukenthal.
2nd Day: Sibiu - “City of Culture, city of Cultures…”
Our City tour will last about 3 hours and will lead us through the medieval city.
In the afternoon we will visit the ASTRA Museum, the biggest open-air museum in Romania and meanwhile even in Europe !
3rd Day: Rural Life in Transylvania
We will experience some villages around Sibiu, situated at the bottom of the Cindrel Mountains.
In Cisnadie: one of the most representative and beautiful fortified churches of Transylvania !
Then the Evangelic Church and the medieval fortress in Cisnadioara (saxon village).
Further, we will move towards Cristian – a village where the inhabitants are mainly Landlers (Austrian minority).
Next, we’ll drive to Sibiel, a typical Romanian village, in order to visit the museum of icons painted on glass. Traditional dinner at a peasant’s family.
4th Day: – Transfer to the airport
