This trip gives you the possibility to track together with a wildlife researcher some of these magnificent animals in the spectacular landscapes of Bucegi Natural Park, as well as see bears at a bear hide (a facility where wild bears are attracted with food for observations). The wildlife researcher will help you “translate” the marks left by wolves, bears and lynx on their natural habitat, sharing with you also from his experience in wildlife research, conservation work in Romania etc.
On the second day we will take you to the airport, stopping on the way (if your flight departure allows it) at Bran Castle (famous for its Dracula story) and/or Peles Castle (a beautiful 19th century castle designed as summer residence for King Carol I).
Average and above fitness level required, hiking boots compulsory.
Accommodation in the rustic but comfortable 2* Mosorel guesthouse in Zarnesti, member of AER. Linen and towels included. Private toilet and shower.
Food: picnic lunch, 3-course dinner, breakfast.
